TASA Ducks Soar to Glory as the 28th EDD CUP Champions
The TASA Ducks rose to the moment on the biggest stage of the tournament, delivering a statement performance to capture the 28th EDD CUP Championship. With resilience, firepower, and shutdown defending, the Ducks proved themselves the undeniable class of the field.
TASA struck first in the opening period, as Silas Keddy ignited the Ducks’ offense with a strong finish to give his team early control of the championship matchup.
In the third period, the Lynx pushed back, tying the game on a power-play marker from Jacob Serry. But championship teams answer, and the Ducks did just that. Keddy, as he has all tournament, delivered in the defining moment—burying the go-ahead goal that stood as the game winner, reclaiming the lead and reigniting the TASA group.
From there, the Ducks pressed their advantage. With time winding down, Zach Connors hammered home a critical insurance goal, putting an exclamation mark on the performance and securing the Ducks’ path to the cup with a 3-1 decision.
In goal, Rory McDonald provided the backbone TASA needed, standing tall with 15 saves on 16 shots, closing the door in a winning effort.
